An architect-turned-interior designer, Dinesh comes with rich international experience in interior design and execution of palatial projects in UK, Bahrain and Delhi. He holds a masters design degree from Nottingham University, UK. He’s meticulous with quality of finishes and has learnt the hard way to extract it from the Indian task force.

DineshKumar Sekar is a licensed Architect and holds a Master’s of Architecture degree from University of Nottingham, UK, 2009. Being a member of Council of Architecture (COA), he has more than 8 years of experience in areas of design, planning and construction. He worked as an Architect at IWA, a London based Design and build firm between 2010 and 2013. During his association with IWA he was involved in design and architectural retrofit of residences, bespoke homes and elegant palaces in the UK, India and middle-east respectively. Possessing immense knowledge in designing and sourcing exquisite furniture, luxurious textiles in the elite interior design fraternity; he also has a depth of experience in the design and management of projects both locally and globally.

Successfully graduating his bachelor’s from Architecture Department, Thiagarajar College of Engineering, Madurai, 2007; he was recruited in campus as an Architect at Total Environment building systems, Bangalore, 2008; after which went to pursue his M.Arch in the United Kingdom. Having travelled widely he has a wide range of knowledge in the architecture and design industry.

Dinesh has a specialization in analyzing the building designs for their environmental performance. His flair for research and analysis has prompted him to publish two international papers at PLEA 2011, Belgium-EU and BUET, Dhaka-Bangladesh, 2012 respectively. Earlier in university, he worked alongside Arun karthik and Sivaraman to bag special mention in the national level design competition conducted by IGBC, 2006(Indian Green Building Council). His Architectural Thesis, “Lights Museum” was short listed in one of the top 10 in South zone by the academic unit of COA_India (Council Of Architecture), 2007.

During his undergraduate days he served as the unit secretary for Thiagarajar College and zone representative for the south zone of (NASA) National association of students of Architecture – India, 2006-07, where he demonstrated unique leader ship qualities.

Being an active swimmer, he also plays table tennis and basket ball during his leisure time.
